Kelly Ashlock has attended YCON since 2021. She is married to Pastor Aaron who serves on staff as the Worship Pastor. Kelly graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Christian Ministries. She is the NDI President at YCON and lends oversight to our Discipleship ministries. She is also heavily involved in Children’s ministry and directs Vacation Bible School. Kelly and Aaron have 3 children – Emily, Alex & Caleb. Kelly works full-time at Indiana Wesleyan University as the Coordinator of Operations in the Division of Leadership and Followership Studies. Her favorite free-time activity is going on hikes at Mounds State Park with family and friends. She loves ice cream and uses any excuse to go to Frozen Boulder!

I grew up, for the most part, in Yorktown, Indiana. I attended Oliver Nazarene University, Ivy Tech where I graduated with an associates degree in Early Childhood Education, then going on to Ball State University where I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Special Education.

Pastor Chad and I were married in April 2009 and we have 2 children, Tanner and Carter and our dog, Sherlock.

I grew up in Hartford City, Indiana and graduated from Blackford High School in 2002. Afterwards I joined the work force spending most of my adult career in the public safety. I’ve worked as a police officer, corrections officer and worked with at risk youth. I moved to Yorktown in 2009 after falling in love with the community. I currently serve as an elected official on the Yorktown Town Council, I love being able to have the opportunity to serve our community. I also serve on the SDMI Board as the Director of Adult Ministries and the Director for the NEI Married Couples Retreat. I’ve attended Ivy Tech Community College and Nazarene Bible College where I will begin classes again in the near future.

Pastor Steve has been our Senior Pastor since June 2021. He’s a graduate of Nazarene Bible College (B.A. Pastoral Ministry) and Northwest Nazarene University (M.A. Missional Leadership).

Pastor Steve gave his life to Jesus when he was 24 and knew at that time God was calling him to ministry. So, he moved to Colorado Springs and attended Nazarene Bible College. That is where he met Debi, his beautiful wife. They have 2 amazing kids, Mackenzie and Dawson. Together, they have served for 16 years in Oklahoma, Texas, and Indiana where they find themselves serving the beautiful people of Yorktown.

Pastor Steve loves to hang out with his family, eat Mexican food and ride his motorcycle.
